Terms of Service

By accessing or using Typoli ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Typoli ("we", "us", or "our").

Typoli is a content creation tool designed to help professionals create LinkedIn content by journaling their daily experiences, thoughts, and insights. The Service includes AI-powered features such as content analysis, draft generation, a writing coach, and a story interview tool.

To use the Service you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

The Service is offered on a freemium basis. The Free plan includes limited usage of certain features as described on our pricing page. The Pro plan unlocks additional features and higher usage limits for a monthly or annual subscription fee.

Subscription fees are billed in advance. By subscribing to the Pro plan you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and no refunds are issued for the remaining period unless required by applicable law.

We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.

You retain full ownership of all content you submit to the Service, including journal entries, post drafts, and any other material ("User Content"). By submitting User Content you grant Typoli a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to process, store, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Service to you.

We do not sell your User Content to third parties. We do not use your journal entries or personal content to train external AI models.

The Service uses large language models and other AI systems to power features such as content analysis, draft writing, and the writing coach. AI-generated output is provided for informational and creative-assistance purposes only. We make no guarantees about the accuracy, quality, or suitability of AI output. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and deciding whether to publish any AI-assisted content.

Your User Content is transmitted to AI processing services as needed to deliver these features. See our Privacy Policy for details on third-party processors.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
• Submit content that is defamatory, obscene, hateful, or infringes third-party rights.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Service by automated means.
• Circumvent usage limits or access controls.
• Use the Service to generate spam or misleading content at scale.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.

The Service, including its design, code, trademarks, and branding, is owned by Typoli and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any licence to our intellectual property beyond what is strictly necessary to use the Service as intended.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT AI OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE OR SUITABLE FOR YOUR NEEDS. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TYPOLI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) €50.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, with or without prior notice depending on the severity of the breach. Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases. You may request an export of your User Content before deletion.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or via an in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Sweden, unless mandatory consumer protection law in your country requires otherwise.
